About

Sister of Mary and Lazarus, who lived in Bethany. When Jesus visited, she was distracted by many preparations while her sister Mary sat at Jesus' feet. She received a gentle rebuke — 'only one thing is needed.' When her brother Lazarus died she ran to meet Jesus and made one of the most important confessions in the Gospels: 'I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God.'
