Lazarus

About
Brother of Martha and Mary in Bethany, described as one Jesus loved. He fell ill and died while Jesus was away. Jesus wept at his tomb and then called out 'Lazarus, come out!' — and Lazarus emerged still wrapped in burial cloths after four days in the tomb. This miracle directly preceded events leading to Jesus' arrest. After his raising, many Jews came to believe in Jesus, making Lazarus himself a target of the chief priests.
