Andrew

Fisherman from Bethsaida, brother of Peter, and formerly a disciple of John the Baptist. He was among the first two disciples Jesus called. After meeting Jesus he immediately found his brother Peter and brought him to Jesus. At the feeding of the 5,000 he pointed out the boy with five loaves and two fish. He and Philip introduced some Greeks to Jesus. Tradition holds he was martyred on an X-shaped cross.
