Rahab

A prostitute of Jericho who hid the two Israelite spies and helped them escape, confessing her faith that the Lord had given Israel the land. She and her household were spared when the city fell, marked by a scarlet cord. She married Salmon and became the mother of Boaz — an ancestor of David and Jesus, and a model of faith in Hebrews.
