About
From Bethsaida, the same town as Peter and Andrew. He was directly called by Jesus. He immediately found Nathanael (Bartholomew) and brought him to Jesus. At the feeding of the 5,000 Jesus tested Philip by asking where they could buy bread. At the Last Supper he asked 'Lord, show us the Father,' prompting Jesus' teaching about being in the Father and the Father in him.
