About
One of Daniel's three companions (Hebrew name Mishael), exiled to Babylon and trained for the king's service. With Shadrach and Abednego he refused to worship the golden image, declaring God able to deliver them 'but if not' they still would not bow — and was preserved alive in the fiery furnace.
