About
King of Salem and 'priest of God Most High' who met Abram returning from battle, brought out bread and wine, and blessed him; Abram gave him a tenth of everything. With no recorded genealogy, he becomes in Psalm 110 and Hebrews a type of Christ's eternal priesthood.
