Judas Iscariot

One of the twelve apostles who served as the group's treasurer. He stole from the money bag. He approached the chief priests and agreed to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. At the Last Supper Jesus indicated that one present would betray him. Judas identified Jesus to the soldiers in Gethsemane with a kiss. Overcome with remorse, he returned the silver to the chief priests and hanged himself.
