About

A brother of Jesus who did not believe during his ministry but became a leader of the Jerusalem church after the risen Christ appeared to him. Known as 'James the Just,' he presided over the Jerusalem Council that welcomed Gentiles into the church, and wrote the New Testament Epistle of James.
