About

Mother of Timothy. Acts introduces her without her name, as a Jewish woman who believed and whose husband was a Greek. Paul names her in his second letter to Timothy, where he says the sincere faith in Timothy lived first in his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. Later in the same letter Paul reminds Timothy that he has known the holy Scriptures since he was a child.
