Apollos

A learned Jew from Alexandria, eloquent and mighty in the Scriptures, who taught accurately about Jesus though he knew only John's baptism. After Priscilla and Aquila explained the way of God more fully, he became a powerful evangelist in Achaia, refuting opponents in public debate. Some in Corinth rallied to him as a rival to Paul, but Paul named them fellow workers in one mission.
